Weller Wear CompoundsTM

Weller's line of premium wear-resistant compounds all consist of proprietary mixtures of ultra-hard materials that are easily applied by any end user. These products are the best stop-gap solution when time is of the essence and a quick fix or upgrade is needed until a more robust solution is conceived and produced.

Weller WC2®

Weller WC2® is a premium wear-resistant compound which is a proprietary mixture of sapphire-hard alumina micro spheres in an epoxy matrix. As a protective coating, Weller WC2® provides a surface resistant to sliding abrasion and chemical attack. High temperature versions are also available.

Weller WC5TM
Weller WC5TM is Weller's ULTRA-Premium wear-resistant compound. The compound is a proprietary mixture of ultra-hard specialty ceramic micro-shards and PPT (Poly-Paraphenylene Terephthalamide) held tightly in an epoxy resin matrix that leaves a smooth finish for optimum performance. Features include; abrasion and chemical resistant, 6000 PSI tensile strength, 250°F range, ease of mixing and applying.

Weller WC10TM
Weller WC10TM is a high performance engineered polymer/ceramic coating material that provides high abrasion and temperature (600°F) resistance for extreme wear areas in plants. Weller WC10TM can be applied to virtually any surface requiring protection from harsh operating environments. Unlike other coatings, Weller WC10TM remains pliable when cured, thus absorbing impact and improving the abrasion resistant properties.
